You might have guessed already my name is Alexis Meinhold. I like to ponder life and dawdle down the street looking at things. I still remember why I wanted to become a graphic designer, only then I didn’t know what it was or that I could have a job doing it. My Dad had the IBM Screensaver when I was little. It was the one with the Eye that would blink, the Bee that would fly around and the M that would jump up and down. I would just sit there and watch it. I have no idea why I liked it so much and still remember it to this day, but I can probably thank my Dad and Paul Rand.
I have earned my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design at Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona. I also acquired an Associate of Science in Graphic Design from Scottsdale Community College, Scottsdale, Arizona. In addition, I have also attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California for Graphic Design.
In Fall 2015, I was nominated for Design Excellence in InnovationSpace group and product branding at the Herberger School of Design at Arizona State University.
My team and I designed the winning campaign in 2016 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee at ASU, and I was a member of one of the finalist teams in the Interdisciplinary Design Cluster Project 2015 at ASU.
